ONCE UPON A PLACE is the story of 'La Nacional' a nondescript building in New York City that welcomed thousands of immigrants to the United States over its 150-year story.

Its striking story is the story of the ebb and tide of Spanish immigration to this country; of the rise and fall of New York City as home to the American Dream, and the tale of hundreds of lives touched by the possibility of a new life. Yet that story of immigrants to America, so relevant today, remains a mystery to most New Yorkers and Americans.

Founded in 1868, "La Nacional" still stands in 2020, the last remaining survivor of the vanished New York neighborhood once known as Little Spain, the largest Spanish immigrant enclave in the United States. "La Nacional" bore witness to the golden age of Little Spain and the tumultuous times that eventually ended in the disappearance of the entire community.

This is its story. And the building itself is going to tell us.

Special Guest: Famous Spanish-American artistDomingo Zapata, who was painted the largest Times Square (NYC) mural of all times.

"TODO PARECÍA PERFECTOt" is an amazing love movie with fantastic and surreal overtones. A dreamy and melancholic romance that, both in tone and spirit, evokes Michel Gondry's "Forget Me". A man dreams that he lives a love story with a woman he does not know. In the dream he loses her, and when he wakes up he decides to reproduce in reality the moment in which he met her just as it happened in his dream, as if he could summon his beloved and everything could start over. The man's dream comes true, but things go awry when he tries to materialize her dreams, with the will to see her happy, in a slightly clumsy way that will end up endangering everything he has fought for.

Paula has just lost her mother and will have to learn to deal with the ghosts that live in her head. But when he decides to visit the house of the deceased, he will gradually begin to plunge into the same darkness and confusion that his mother also suffered.

Alejo Levis ( TODO PARECÍA PERFECTO ) directs and writes this drama, with the performances of María Ribera, Carla Torres, Aida Oset and Montse Ribas. The film was screened during the 20th edition of the Malaga Film Festival, where it opened the Zonazine section.
