First documentary series that breaks the silence that has surrounded the history of slavery in Spain. It will do so by addressing this subject from all angles and by dealing in depth with the historical contexts of a phenomenon that accelerated economic progress in many areas of the country, circumventing legal limits, until abolitionism finally managed to prevail at the end of the 19th century. It was the last country in Europe to do so.

Throughout four episodes, we will get to know Spain as a great slave power, the presence of slaves, and the origin of the fortunes that favored the industrial revolution in our country. At a time of great global awareness of the world's slavery past, the series sheds light on an unknown historical reality with seriousness, serenity and rigor.
